The “Karmapa 900 Years Celebration” marks a memorable time to recollect the glories of the historic lineage of the Karmapa. Not only have the Karmapas contributed to Tibetan culture, Sangha, education, and literary heritage over the centuries up to nowadays, but also these treasures remain alive especially in this era of chaos, providing the wisdom of tolerance and unconditional love to this world.

The Glorious 1st Karmapa Düsum Khyenpa – The founder of Karma Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism was first born in 1110 AD. For the past 900 years, His Holiness Karmapa’s promise to liberate all sentient beings from sufferings and to attain the ultimate state of happiness has never been interrupted through his reincarnations.

「噶瑪巴九百週年」慶典，是我們憶念噶瑪巴法王及其圓滿眾生願望之寶貴佛行事業的特別時刻。數百年來，歷代噶瑪巴對藏地文化、僧侶、教育以及文學貢獻良多，這些珍貴的寶藏至今都依然生氣蓬勃，尤其在此紛亂的世代，更是賜予這個世界寬宏包容的智慧和毫無保留的慈悲！

藏 傳佛教噶瑪噶舉傳承的創立者，尊勝的第一世大寶法王杜松虔巴，誕生於西元1110年，至今恰好九百週年。過去的九百年裡，法王如同黑暗中的明燈、夜空中的 皓月，為延續他的宏願和使命，為護念一切衆生和弟子從痛苦中解脫，以祈得到真正的快樂，從不間斷地為渡盡一切眾生，一直不斷的乘願轉世回來。
